Jason is a farmer who will protect rural communities from overzealous development.
Jason's septic-to-sewer law cuts the nitrogen loading that fouls spring water, and his Wildlife Corridor work protects the land that recharges the aquifer. He'll keep funding spring and river restoration and defend the Wekiva-Ocala Greenway as a buffer against development-driven pollution.
In the Senate, Jason passed legislation to create the Florida Wildlife Corridor, which protects millions of acres of Florida Heartland for generations to come. A Winter Springs native who understands the importance of conserving our rural land, Jason will fight to keep our rural boundary intact.
Qualifications Jason represented the community for eight years in the Florida House, where he worked to lower taxes and deliver on meaningful projects for our community, such as the Casselberry Flyover, which helped alleviate traffic and congestion in Seminole County. Elected to the Florida Senate in 2020, he has sent more than 20 bills to the Governor's desk, including foster-children protections, the Florida Wildlife Corridor Act, homestead tax exemptions for teachers and first responders, expanded mental-health resources, and landmark prescription-drug and pharmacy-benefit-manager reforms.

Jason supported the 2022–2023 tort reforms now lowering costs statewide, with auto-insurance refunds and 2026 rate cuts beginning to reach drivers. He'll keep the pressure on insurers to pass savings to policyholders and bring more private carriers back into Florida.

Jason wrote the homestead exemption that saves teachers, first responders, and military families an estimated $81 million in its first year, and backed the gas-tax and baby-necessity tax holidays. He'll keep pushing targeted tax relief and property-tax reform while holding the line on state spending so Florida stays affordable.

Jason secured state support for the Central Florida Zoo to care for rescued animals and protect its national accreditation, and backs tighter FWC permitting for exotic-animal imports. He'll keep pushing for stronger oversight so animals are protected before a crisis, not after.
