Position on major issues

Abortion and reproductive policy

Women's Health is NOT Up for Debate Women are still having to deal with a host of issues during doctor's visits. They are NOT being heard by medical providers. Women are often misdiagnosed, receive improper treatments, or are frequently told that they "need to lose weight" in an effort to dismiss the problem. There is still a lack of women in clinical trials, as men are still strongly viewed as the default, insufficient research into women's health issues, and so much more. Robert will support federal grant funding for these initiatives. Reproductive health and decisions are always up to a woman and her doctor.

Agriculture and rural policy

Robert would also like to restore USDA funding for food banks and to engage with food assistance organizations to identify bureaucratic barriers and regulation changes that could expand opportunities and alleviate costs.

Artificial intelligence

Robert speaks with members of the American Postal Workers Union about his priorities, including protecting Social Security, Medicare for All, Vote by Mail, protecting people and the environment, and opposing data centers when communities don’t want them.

Economy, jobs and wages

Since Donald Trump’s term started in 2025, his administration has made decisions for the benefit of the fossil fuel industry and to the detriment of regular people. Electricity rates are up 8% since Trump took office, and here in District 15, residents have been significantly impacted by increased electricity costs. 47% of Floridians already struggle to meet basic costs of living. With the addition of increased expenses due to natural disaster impacts and insurance costs, Florida’s working and middle-class families are being priced out of living here.

peopleforcongress.com ·

Education

One way Robert will look to do this is to establish a minimum salary in every state. This will be determined at the very least by the cost of living, the current median salaries, and a few other factors. It will be enough for teachers not to have to get second jobs over the summer.

peopleforcongress.com ·

When annual budgets are established, teacher salaries need to be at the TOP of the list. Except for emergency issues, all the improvements and enhancements in the world make NO difference if you don't have teachers.

Our children need to be fed and nourished so that they can focus on learning and becoming their absolute best. Robert will fight for FREE school breakfasts and lunches for ALL our children. Robert would like to propose child tax credits to cover school meals.

Since members of Congress often make policy decisions that can have a direct impact on the economy and specific industries, Robert is looking to support or put forth legislation to ban congressional stock trading.

Energy

Families and social services

Government reform

This will also prevent insider trading, which will stop lawmakers from having non-public, market-moving information before the general public. Members of Congress are representatives of the American people. They should not be engaging in activities that give them an unfair financial advantage over the people they represent, especially when their constituents are often suffering and living in poverty. This is unacceptable.

Healthcare

Robert speaks with members of the American Postal Workers Union about his priorities, including protecting Social Security, Medicare for All, Vote by Mail, protecting people and the environment, and opposing data centers when communities don’t want them.

peopleforcongress.com ·

We have proven time and time again that we have the capacity to support Medicare For All, and there has been enough "kicking this can down the road." Robert will support universal healthcare to ensure that our citizens receive the healthcare they need without being financially drained just to pay for medication(s), forcing them to decide between paying a bill or receiving, in many cases, life-saving medicines. Our citizens should not have to decide to essentially die due to the inflated costs of medications that they can no longer afford, and whoever is benefiting from these astronomical costs needs to be held accountable as well. Enough of pretending we do not know that is happening. We do, and enough is enough.

peopleforcongress.com ·

This bill was passed on July 3, 2025, and signed on July 4, 2025. This is a horrible bill, to say the least. Millions will lose healthcare coverage and SNAP benefits. Our national debt will rise by nearly $3.5 trillion. There will be limits to overtime and tips deductions. And this is just the start. If this has not taken place by the time Robert is in office in 2027, his goal here would be to propose legislation to amend and/or repeal this bill.

Robert will ensure to protect the LGBTQ+ community against harmful legislation and practices, along with supporting transgender care, access to doctors, mental health professionals, and targeted intervention.

Immigration

There needs to be a much better and clearer path to citizenship that does not involve immigrants who are doing the right thing having to wait years for their citizenship.

peopleforcongress.com ·

Also, there seems to be unnecessary confusion on due process, as Robert will also push that immigrants have better protection and adequate due process as stated by our CONSTITUTION.

peopleforcongress.com ·

National security and foreign policy

Robert will NOT accept donations from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). This includes disguised, AIPAC-linked donors; i.e., donations linked to AIPAC while not disclosed as being received from this organization. Robert will also always vote and/or support NO further arms being sent to Israel under this administration.

peopleforcongress.com ·

Robert will NOT support Israel's GENOCIDE against the people of Palestine. Since October 7, 2023, 65,000 Palestinians have died, and this continues even after an established Gaza peace plan that went into effect on October 10, 2025. This is unacceptable.

Social Security and retirement

Robert speaks with members of the American Postal Workers Union about his priorities, including protecting Social Security, Medicare for All, Vote by Mail, protecting people and the environment, and opposing data centers when communities don’t want them.

peopleforcongress.com ·

Robert will propose raising the Social Security tax cap. According to http://pgpf.org, in 2025, the Social Security tax cap was set at $176,100, which is an increase of $7,500 more than in 2024.

peopleforcongress.com ·

We must make sure we keep the Social Security conversation on the table, and Robert pledges to keep the discussion going. Our citizens should not have to worry about losing their hard-earned money.

peopleforcongress.com ·

It is important to note that in this case, a two-thirds vote would be needed from both the House and the Senate. However, considering the catastrophic nature of the contents of this bill, Robert has no plans to give up on getting rid of this horrible, ugly bill.

Other statements

LGBTQ+ rights are human rights, and this is not a radical concept.

Robert is also a supporter of safe spaces and will support protected community centers, along with gender-neutral public facilities.
