The bill implements a pilot program to require use of a callback queue system within Florida Commerce in processing calls from claimants about reemployment assistance. The agency received 19.2 million telephone calls in 2025 regarding constituent economic self-sufficiency assistance. By December 31, 2027, both agencies must submit a report to the Legislature describing the effectiveness of the program, providing a recommendation as to whether the pilot program should be continued.

In the legislature, I serve on the Health & Human Services Committee, the Health Professions & Programs Subcommittee, and several other key committees, fighting every day to lower property insurance costs, expand affordable housing, and protect healthcare for our seniors.
Through this work, I am pushing for lower property insurance costs, expanded affordable housing, and better healthcare access for our seniors.

Veterans who have served our country deserve more than our gratitude - they deserve a safe and stable place to call home. The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development - Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) voucher program reduces Veteran Homelessness. But the program needs landlords. Under this pilot program within Broward, Escambia, Hillsborough, and Santa Rosa Counties, a landlord willing to provide a home to a Veteran qualifies for funding from a Vacancy Relief Trust Fund- proportional rent for a period of up to 45 days after the date the dwelling unit becomes available or until the actual date that the veteran moves into the dwelling unit, and from the Risk Mitigation Trust Fund- designed to cover property loss at the dwelling unit caused by the Veteran which extends up to $2,000 beyond the amount of the security deposit money.
