Elections and voting
Salzman is a staunch advocate for term limits at every level of government. While in the State Legislature, she imposed limitations on the length members of the Utility Authority in Escambia County could hold office. She also brought forth legislation to impose term limits on County Commissioners.

Healthcare
Mental health and healthcare troubles are plaguing the Florida Panhandle, and to help move toward solutions Michelle Salzman founded the Mental Health Task Force of Northwest Florida. She's brought partnerships with hundreds of individuals within support organizations, groups, and hospitals to collaborate together. The task force privately funded a comprehensive study to identify the critical issues our area experiences and develop solutions within care groups to combat them.
