This bill allows a property owner to file a complaint with the sheriff to remove a person from unlawfully occupying their property and allows the sheriff to serve notice to vacate. It also strengthens the criminal penalties for trespassing, fraudulent documents and sales. This addressed the so-called “squatters” issue we’re seeing around the country. We will not have that problem here in Florida.
While the radical left is focused on eliminating police through defunding, I will be a consistent voice to make sure our communities and state are doing everything possible to recruit and retain the best and brightest police officers.

It is past time for Florida to join the 21 other states by passing this constitutional legislation.

As your State Representative, Iadvocated for the most vulnerable in society. This is reflected in the bills protecting minors from harmful online content, protecting child abuse reporters from public record, strengthening antisemitism law, and comprehensive tax relief to name a few. I also supported bills improving government regulations, strengthening property rights, and I continue to seek further solutions to property tax and insurance issues.
